I'll only answer the second question.
Not infrequently. The major issues were I assume the partial refunds, always getting free next-day shipping and promo credits.
I've seen other references in DDF regarding multiple Amazon Payments accounts. I still don't get what the benefit is.

How do you get free next-day shipping and why would you be worried about getting it to often? And what is the dollar value of the partial refunds you get when not returning?

I made a few extra accounts (I think 2) to take advantage of the recent $20 off first diapers order promo. I even used gmail aliases and all the same info. They sent me an email on one account saying I may have violated Amazon Mom terms or something like that. So I respond right away asking what the issue is. First they said we can't respond to that email address (because they were sending it to a +1 or +2 alias, but I was responding from the base address). When I finally figured out how to send from an alias, again repeating the question, what did I do wrong, they responded saying you're okay, don't worry about it (obviously paraphrasing the convo).

Settings>Accounts>Send mail as>Add another email address you own.

Have done this recently. You do have to add each alias address individually. Wish there was an easier way.
