But you're stuck with (for s long as you stay) a shoddy carrier, problematic roaming, etc.

Maybe if they offer this stuff after their T-Mo merge...

Their data is expensive, $30 for 2gb (ontop of the $30 for Unl. talk/sms)

It's meant for people who are usually within reach of a WiFi network. They have (had?) pretty nasty T&Cs to discourage abuse by people who don't ever plan on using the WiFi functionality. Caveat emptor.

+1 Well worth the $10 IMHO. If you need internet than get a Nexus 4 and you'll have it connected via Wi-Fi
