Anyone else getting nervous with how high and how fast this market is going, with plenty of concerns that should've kept things in check? I'm by nature bullish and have a hard time making a bearish play, but I'm starting to toy with the idea of going short to anticipate a market correction.
Or am I totally off base here?

I remain bullish but have hedged my portfolio against a major correction.

Even without a actual bullish position, try to protect your gains. Stop loss orders and such.

Soooo...  AYI Earnings are coming up.  Yes i know,  it's in the beginning of April,  but it has a tendency to trend up prior.  I straddled a day before  earnings last quarter and won big on my puts.  10X actually,  and if I if I wasn't nervous at open that it would go back up I would have made almost double that. Anyway i bought some calls to hold for maybe a few weeks.  Then straddle time!

He'll be either  right or wrong :)
The interesting thing is that I hear and read so many similar opinions to the one expressed, so much so that I am not sure what's the real sentiment, euphoria or fear. As Ritholtz himself has pointed out several times, that fear in and of itself could be driving markets higher.

At the end of the day, I don't think it will be a change in sentiment, per se, that will turn this market into a bear, but rather something exogenous. What that might be, and when it might come, is anyone's guess.
