Updating to IOS 6 without enough memory?

I wanna update to IOS 6 but It say I need 2.4 GB to update and I have almost nothing. Any way to save everthing onto computer so that I don't have to spend all that time redownloading?

Will it save even downloads which are not part of an app? I have many Khan Academy videos that I downloaded through Khan Archiver app.

Did u make sure before syncing to "Transfer purchases" to your computer from iphone by right clicking the iphone on the left column in itunes??

I transferred all the apps but it seems because the videos not part if the actual app it does not get synced.

Well if u did an actual full sync then u should have a full backup of the phone. Now that your phone is on iOS 6, plug it in, go to itunes and on the left column, right click on your iphone and click on "restore from backup". U should see a list of backups with dates. Select the latest one and let the phone restore (15 min). U should get everything back as before (including in-app purchases and downloads. But of course, all of your jailbroken apps (i.e. paid apps that u installed for free) will not install because iOS 6 is not yet jailbroken
