Why BKK over someplace like AKL?

1) BKK would only be the destination point. I'd use other miles or revenue tix to fly intra Asia.
2) I figure I need more than 11 days away from work for AKL, and
3) I'd need almost ~500K SPG on EK F for that :P

NZ can probably be done with 11 total days, just find another way to get from DXB/BKK to AKL.

Probably going to hold off to do NZ/AUS until December/January for the better weather.

Don't wanna do them in the fall/winter.

Also, that'd be a boat load of miles just to get to NZ. I'd probably just skip EK F if I did NZ/AUS.

Tentatively, a combination of the following:

SIN/CNX/HKT/(PEK/PVG)

Just want to comment. Coming from someone that doesn't understand any of the abbreviations being used here, I couldn't stop laughing. Just read these to yourself. It's like going to the joke convention. Gotta start a thread on abbreviations! TCHANDTTYLBB (take care have a nice day talk to you later bye bye)!

It's not about the quantity of your posts.  It's about the quality.

Why not just fly EWR-SIN in SQ J?

Why not just fly EWR-SIN in SQ J?

That was the original plan (and may still happen), but there is no availability on the days I want.

It appears to open closer to departure so I may just wait, but if I had a compelling option prior to last min booking, I'd take it.

ETA: I'd like to experience another premium F product (EK, Squites, LH 747 bed, CX F for service) if I could though.

Also, I'm *hoping* SQ will be a bit more generous with Squites availability over the next few months.

What about CX F?

See edit.

Also, that's what I plan on flying back with.

Try for a CX 747.

Try for a CX 747.

Why?

It's a larger F (9 pax vs 6), so it's likely busier, and my understanding is it's not as well situated for couples as the 773.
