Why?

It's a larger F (9 pax vs 6), and my understanding is it's not as well situated for couples as the 773.
Seats 1A/B are as good as it gets but even without that it's very enjoyable to be in the nose with no forward galley/cockpit.
Plus better lavs.

You mean 1A/K?

Yeah, I guess it's cool to be in the nose. Personally, I have a bigger taivah to fly upstairs on the 747... never have. But not at the expense of F :)

Ya.
Upstairs is cool, but not that cool.

Have you flown CX's F on the 773? Or has anyone? Enough to compare them?

So not only is the 747 > 777 it's better than SQ F A380...

I'd love to hear the rationale. Certainly it can't be because there was a nicer lav :P

Perhaps it was just a flight with amazing service?

Let's discuss it there.

Helpful info.

Looking fwd to CX F (on either the 777 or 747) :)

But, with respect to food, I don't even count it as a factor as a religious Jew. To me, its hard product (seat/entertainment), soft product (service), food, in that order (with food being a distant third).
DO in YVR ;)

Currently booked as:

Su CX889, JFK-YVR-HKG, 10:40pm-6:55am +2
[in HKG for ~34 hours = All day Tu and most of We]
Wed CX703, HKG-BKK, 5:15pm-7:00pm
[at some point shortly thereafter, on some airline, go to CNX for 4.5 days -- don't currently plan on spending any time in BKK]
Mo CX702, BKK-HKG, 6:40pm-10:35pm
Tu CX888, HKG-YVR-JFK, 12:30am-7:00am

The question I have for you fine folk is should I cut out my ~34 hours in HKG (and a night in the Grand Executive Harbor Suite at the Grand Hyatt) in favor of more time in Thailand, specifically CNX or HKT?

Looks great! Can't advise on your question but was wondering how you booked this flight.

AA miles? Price?
