Option 1. CDG-AUH (EY F) stay overnight in AUH/DWC, DWC-DOH-CAN-BKK  (QR F) Pros: EY F, Cons: Really long transit time to get to BKK (leave Mon morning, get in on Wed night,) 112.5k AA

Option 2.CDG-DOH-CAN-BKK (QR F) long layover in DOH, Pros:As much time as I want in Al Safwa lounge, Shorter transit time (leave Mon night, same time getting in Wed night,) only 90k AA, fewer connections, Cons: no EY F

Option 3. Scrap this whole idea and just stay in Europe for longer

Thoughts?

It really depends how much you love Airplanes, airports trying out different products with some First Class products maybe once in a life time lounges or First Class suites, I love aviation, First Class products, airports, airplanes, lounges etc. If you don't appreciate any of those things then don't do it.

Also why are you spending so little time in DXB/ AUH? spend 2 nights there. You can do allot in 2 days in the area.

That's really why I think I want to do option 1, I just wanted to know if I was crazy to go on such a crazy route just to take those specific flights.
I guess I could take the Sunday flight to AUH, spend Sunday night and Monday night there and then go on the DOH on Tuesday. but I wanted to spend Shabbos in VCE, not CDG and the flight leaves at 10 AM.

I specifically did the very long route: DXB DOH BKK HKG MNL so I could try out the AL safawa, QR F, CX pier F lounge in HKG, I even made sure to get the longest transfer at the AL SAAFAWA as I have read many trip reports on that lounge and it was well worth it.

Sounds pretty awesome actually  :) I wouldn't be able to do CX F though.

I thought with JAL you have to book round trip.
How many miles is it for first class one way from NY to the Maldives?

Anyone know of places in Europe where I can manage with a baby over shabbos in regards to either an eruv or possible accommodations next door to chabad or other meals?
Besides for Vienna, Antwerp, Venice, Gibralter, Prague, France, and Amsterdam.

London?
I actually had initially wrote London in my post but edited it out as I feared the rebuke of the purist police telling me its not EU.

Iceland. Just stay in your hotel room and bring a crockpot.

1) Iceland seems relatively boring especially with small children, even by EU standards.
2) I'm not traveling with a Crock-Pot
3) I'd rather a more inclusive shabbos experience, considering the other possible options.

I'll leave 2 and 3 because I already knew that when I posted my suggestion. But clearly for 1 we have different ideas of what's considered interesting.

No, we have different ideas of what children/infants consider interesting/doable.
Care to enlighten me here?

No, because I was focusing on your comment of it being "boring", not the "especially for children". 😬

Leaving IAD on Monday, have to be in Paris on Sunday morning for my flight to AUH so I figured I would do Thu-Sun in Paris. Question is can I squeeze in two cities from arrival Monday evening until going to Paris on Thursday? If so, which cities?
