8 hour stopover at LHR
« on: July 25, 2023, 06:10:43 AM »
I have a 8 hour stopover at LHR on Thursday 8/3. What are the places I should try getting to see and what is the best way to get there? I have a 15 month old baby along with myself and my wife.

Windsor castle is very close to the airport. Easy to do on a short stopover.

Tube/ Underground to downtown London spend a few hours there.

Or you can check out the Jewish area and the kosher restaurants.

It's very easy to get around in London. You can get the tube from airport with a easy walk. Just make sure to have a stroller or baby carrier if you are ok with that

You can take the express train to Paddington.

I enjoyed big Ben and palace of Westminster

Damn I should have gone to Windsor!
