OK, bumping an old thread, but there is mention regarding the OP's question in a
news article I saw today; and I quote "Consumer involvement is also very noticeable when it comes to boycotts. McCann Erickson is still recovering from a boycott that took place 25 years ago, when their client, Bank Leumi, started building on-top of a cemetery in Tiberias after which they had to receive Rabbi Yosef Elyashiv’s blessing."
I know this doesn't mention HI by name but I do remember that it was them and Bank Leumi.
I'm not sure what the last thing is because I do remember that R Elyashiv actually refused to rescind the boycott, since R Wosner who signed on it is still alive and should therefore be consulted directly.
