Coffee with Ice cream inside is a perk so $7 is fine $46 for lox sounds like a lot.
its not just lox, its a full filling but light meal (lots of great fresh veggies, 2 types of cream cheese plus great butter, plus lots of types of fresh bagels and breads) with interesting and different flavored lox u cant get in most places. lunch for 2 in the city in a nice quiet atmosphere with the chef coming over and telling you how he makes each of the 5 types of lox is pretty fair. still came out less than the reserve cut lunch special.

Traveling to NYC with 3 young children.  Would ideally like to be walking distance to a couple kid friendly restaurants.  Deciding between the Conrad in Battery Park City or the Hilton in Times Square.  What are the food options within walking distance to these hotels?  I am okay with upscale restaurants as long as children are "welcome" there.

Thanks!

There are probably more options within walking distance from Times Sq. than there are within walking distance from BPC.

Does anyone know if Bagels and Co. on the upper east side has a reliable hashgacha (Rabbi Neiman)?

It all depends. For someone who is eating out every day for lunch then you would want to try something new. However, do some research before you try the new place. This place is being changed every 3 months or so to a different restaurant and doesn't seem to get great reviews so I would have stayed away. I eat out every day for lunch in that area and never tried them once. I walked in once and walked right out
