I don't understand why people like Abagael so much. It reminds me of my school cafeteria.

Got the pastrami egg roll, was frozen inside, they said that's how it's supposed to come.

I tried it in the summer for my first time and had a real bad experience and the food is really bland nothing special ,we tried many dishes ,the only thing that i always think about is the huuugge sundea ice cream dessert ,but in taste my local ice cream shop makes it better ,just the idea makes me wow ,its really big 😂

And the service was bad i asked for chicken soup and waiter said they have with vegetables and some spices , it was actually a hot spicy tomato yemenite soup with a few pieces of chicken and vegetables ,was really gross , if i am not mistaken it was mainly heated up tomato soup , and the old fashioned soggy crackers with spicy tomatoes that welcomes you on the table is a bad first impression and not good as well.

listen I'm not saying it is reserve cut level but it's definitely the next level below on par with le marais and I prefer it to Le marais as they have more appetizers and more choices. Is every dish always perfect? No but I've had several dinners and A lot of lunches here and it is very consistent for me

The huge sundea

Actually this is what you can see that back in the days when abegails was one of the only steakhouses when they newly opened ,you can now understand that the kosher scene uped the game tremendously,  same goes with le marais was the subpar kosher steakhouse and now its meh , times changing,  wonder how many of the old school restaurants will survive in tri state area with so much new and really great restaurants in the scene.

Well Mr. Broadway down the block i would rate atleast 10 times better ,not to compare at all

I am not sure where you have eaten besides abegails but we spent over there a fortune and honestly no dish that was even just tasty or good ,let alone something to wow . My point is for such expensive prices its nothing worth

I was at mr broadway fine dinning 2 times past couple of weeks and they beat alot of restaurants with their food ,the ambiance is not reserve cut  ,
They brought back the veal ribs on the menu ,u can't get it anywhere and its delicious,  price wise is Mr. Broadway worth it much more then many restaurants.
And btw for a reason they are always packed out the door with no seating at any night.

the reason they are packed is bec they are quick and on the cheaper side for kosher. Fine dining and mr. Broadway do not belong in the same sentence

Mr. Braodway

Just for the Pickels and cole slaw is even worth to go to them 😂

There chicken soup is one of the best hearthy chicken soups u can get in nyc (i ordered broth only ,no matza ball or noddeles) actually i wonder why dosent every restaurant have a hearthy chicken aoup without chemicals
Pastrami empandas on gucamole , was really good , it comes 3 pieces

Half smoked chicken that was really good ,intresting for a change to eat chicken

Veal ribs

Those veal ribs look so old they could have grandchildren.
