I personally think all those choices are a notch down from RC/pg, but for convenience I have "suffered" at Le marais too. If u could somehow arrange getting to izzys (maybe message them and try to go at 4pm) that would be worth it, dinosaur ribs are the best kosher meat value at a restaurant period.

Thanks all. Izzy's sounds intriguing, but too far away, and too self-indulgent, need to at least pretend the food is aimed for my wife.

Sounds like its between Mike's and Le Marais. The menu at Le Marais doesn't really speak to me, but if I am pressed for time may just stick with Le Marais.

Any suggestions on a late night dessert place around Times Square? If open late (i.e. midnight) milchig an option, and truthfully preferable.

Brunch/Lunch next morning, worth the trip to Amesterdam Burger? Or is there a good pizzeria/pasta near Times Square. Need to leave the city around 1.

Why not grab something light before the show and then go to Mike's after the show so that you won't be pressured for time?

i don't know anyone that will seat him so late except maybe Talias? not worth it imo. besides, who wants to eat a full dinner so late?

No show goes from 7pm-12.
Probably over by 10.

We did Mike's after Aladdin in October, was great.
Even got to DO there with AJK

Can't go wrong with Le Marais. It's right there in the theater district, closes super late, executes perfectly every time and you can get away cheap if you need to.

I think the answer is no, but are there any kosher (not open on Shabbas) vegan and/or Indian restaurants that have reliable certification in Manhattan? Can be Indian and non-vegan like former DakShin or Shalom Bombay. TIA.

It seems like they're all IKC or Cup-K. So probably not.

Yes and it says the rabbi is the same guy who certifies the other kosher vegan/indian in the neighborhood--so probably not. Thanks anyways!

I didnt recognize the name, but i remember having a discussion about that hasgacha regarding the Maoz felafel chain. Same maskana.

Cup-K is Israel Rabbi Israel Mayer Steinberg. IKC is Rabbi Zev Schwarcz. I've never heard of anyone who actually asked another Rov or Kashrus professional about either of them who was told they're reliable.
