What's the difference between OU and OU-Glatt in the list https://www.ckj.org/kosher_restaurant_list
From what I understand, ou no longer certifies non glatt meat and would seem that the list is a mistake... maybe to note that it's fleishigs although only 2 on the list have it...

Like 10-15 years ago or more, though a lot of people think they still do

Glatt Style....

I don't know what that means. I never heard of a mainstream Kashrus agency having two standards, a Glatt and a Glatt-style...

Real Glatt or fake Glatt?
U mean Glatt from a halachik standpoint or just to note that it's meat?
Since the ou stopped certifying non glatt meat, any time it's used it just refers to meat would b equivalent to ou-m if you've ever seen that...

I don't know what that means. I never heard of a mainstream Kashrus agency having two standards, a Glatt and a Glatt-style...
it was a joke.
Did you ever hear of Kosher Style...

most deli's across america use this line.

so i took it to the next level
Glatt Style.

What is fake glatt?

Glatt that isn't suitable for a S'fardi to eat (as defined in the SA).

Went to Bedford on Park last night.

Was... OK.

Brisket Egg Rolls ($18) were actually excellent.

Maple glazed lamb bacon ($20) was... missing something. I feel like slices should have been thinner, and the taste was... not worth $20.

Eye of the rib steak ($40) was very good, but very small. And the sides? Barely there. One stalk of a green thing and a tiny sauteed onion (which you cannot even see, as it's blocked by sauce cup).

Dino rib ($65) was 25 oz, but fatty, over seasoned, and did not compare to Izzy's.

Chili Tini ($16) was literally like drinking a jabanero. Would not order again, and coming from someone who loves spicy things, that's saying something.

Coconut Creme Brulee ($14) was not hot enough on top, and too cold below.

Overall, though there were some highlights, I am not dying to go back.

You're too much of a risk taker. Life is better being ignorant and just going to Le Marais for every special occasion.  :P

Who said it was a special occasion.

some of that stuff is similar to the bedford in queens and from the first time I went to the last couple times, my impression has gone down significantly.

Im all about risk taking. I took a risk with Bedford in Queens. Went with a big group - We all left hungry. Thank g-d for the shwarma shop down the block.
Needless to say, I see this new location as High risk. Ill wait and see reviews.
