Went to Noidue Carne’ this past Sunday night:

Nice Casual Atmosphere

Service was very good. Food Came out quickly, Waiter even put one of the appetizers in our plates and water was refilled very quickly (maybe because I got the bottled water)

Drinks:

My wife got the sangria- it was pretty good.

Appetizers:

Antipasti(smaller apps)

Morrocan Cigars $14- very good

Nonna’s Meatballs $15- good

Primi (bigger apps)

House made Cavatelli $25- very good

Contorini (side dishes) $10 each

Olive oil mashed potatoes- good

Steak Fries (supposedly)- ok

Secondi (main dish)

14 OZ. Grilled Prime Ribeye Steak $69- I asked for the leanest steak. This was far from lean it was very fatty but the part I was able to eat was good

14 OZ Grilled 7-bone Chuck steak $42- also very fatty but very good flavor

Dessert:

Chocolate Ganache with whipped cream and fruit- excellent

Chocolate pecan pie my wife said it was good

Enough ink has been spent writing about Mike's., so I won't write a full review, but it was perfect. Last night I had a great steak there - the 15oz boneless rib. Was cooked to a perfect Med/med rare, and had a great (but not overpowering) red-wine sauce and pepper crust. Doesn't come with a side, but the Yam fritters are great. A bit pricey at $62 + side, but it was a nice portion size.

My wife got the short-rib, and I have a thing against ordering 2 of the same entree because I finish her food half the time.

Normally that's my rule, but that short rib never gets left over!
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I did it a while ago when a vendor took me out for lunch, I remember it being very good and we both enjoyed the experience.

As far as I can remember the food is similar to dinner, but the portions are small and some of the courses are useless.

https://yeahthatskosher.com/2017/10/global-list-of-restaurants-with-a-sukkah-2017/

We went to Le Marais on Sunday.  They don't take reservations for the Sukkah and it seats about 20 first come first served.

Is there anything at all resembling Basil/BAB/etc for breakfast in the city? Or even just a good bakery.

I don't love MMF.

There are restaurants where even though they may be considered over-priced, at least you are wowed by the food/decor.. This was definitely not that..
