If I have a reward ticket, and I pay tax using the Citi ThankYou Premier. Will I earn flying points. Thanks for sharing your experience in advance.

Thanks! Any one has experience? I want to make sure before I use the card to pay. Otherwise I will use AA card to get 10% reward point refund.

AFAICT, paying the taxes should be no different than any other airline purchase, and would be treated as such.

so i believe for it to accumulate flight points the taxes must be $50+
