  Being a Jamaican baby nurse myself, this is too funny. Any idiot knows that salt amplifies the taste of things and this only works best if the coffee is exceptionally good. As for the BAGEL- was it cold? Jamaicans prefer their food warm or piping hot. Every culture has something weird about it... trust me, I know

On the topic of grass-fed..

In my local supermarket (in CH), grass fed meat has recently been significantly cheaper then regular meat.

Any idea why? I always thought it's the opposite.

Although to be honest, the grass fed ones looked a lot worse off then the regular, so maybe that had something to do?

in CH and also in KRM, the grass-fed may be cheaper simply because of the supply-and-demand rule.
B"H, there is plenty of grass-fed/Tevya's ranch to go around. Possibly the CH stores and the corresponding hashgochos are cheaper and/or less people can buy them.
In KRM, the CHK meat section usually has great prices. The other sections with specific hashgachos and no grass-fed options in KRM may cost more as there may be less supply and more demand.

Due to current fluctuations in the meat industry, some companies in the food service trade have been reporting that they have been having difficulties in procuring kosher meat. Kosher meat suppliers are acutely aware of this issue, and are working to ensure adequate supplies.
