Nice checker for what can and cannot officially be brought through security.
My TSA - Home Airport
You may want to print out their policy for under-educated agents.

The final decision rests with the TSA officer on whether an item is allowed through the checkpoint.

Many pharmacies sell small ones for $1-2.

After searching around its a YMMV. Some agents let smaller others made trouble. Most people said why risk it. But it's gotta be resealable.

it seems you have to put them in a clear plastic bag (i know this isnt specific to jet blue)
is that a total of 3.4 ounces or each item needs to be less than 3.4 ounces?
also, what do spray deodorant users do if they arent checking a bag?
Please change thread title. What's the connection to jet blue?

It messes up the forums and defeats the "search" function. No experience from previous jet blue encounters will help you any more than other airlines.

There is a company in the USA called TSA and they make the rules for all domestic and international flights leaving the USA. No airline can go around that. (Some airlines like El Al have there own security in addition to TSA)

No, not offended, just annoyed.

I hear your point and it's a valid one, but don't let yourself get annoyed over such things

I have nothing against you personally, it's against people that disregard the Seder that we try to keep here for everyone's benefit.

Oh, I guess you don't do search. I searched for "liquids security" and this is the second thread that came up - http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=21267.0

Just went through security three times with a full bottle (6~8 oz.) of saline (contact lens) solution. TSA allowed it as it is 'medicinal', they just swabbed it each time. CLE and LGA.
