Congrats LA, you win :)

Saw that today. Don't know how they calculate it though. BKK seemed to have traffic far worse than anything I've ever experienced in LA.

You don't even need to click the link for the answer to that.

ETA: Now that I actually clicked the link I see what your question is.

They say "The average driver wasted 104 hours sitting in gridlock during the busiest commuting times last year, and lost $2,408 each in squandered fuel and productivity."

Presumably their argument it's worse in LAX on average, even if BKK has worse traffic.

Could be, but that isn't nearly as bad IMO. I'd rather have very busy commuting times during rush-hour and less traffic other times as opposed to heavy traffic all the time.

Live in Brooklyn. Even with kids, I'm grateful we don't have a car, though we do rent a car every so often for weekend outings (which just reminds me why we don't own one).

The only traffic congestion I ever have on my way to work is during Tishrei, or other times when Crown Heights is blessed with an abundance of guests/visitors, causing some congestion on the sidewalks.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

That's gotta be terrible for you. It probably doubles the time of your commute.

Live in Brooklyn.
I can just imagine how bad it is in L.A. if moving to Brooklyn is considered getting away from congestion.

My commute is 7 minutes with no traffic, but I'm the exception.

Are you always traveling against the rush hour traffic?

Lucky you, spent a week in LA and swore I'd never go back just because of the traffic

Talking of which, just navigating the aisles of the grocery around the corner took about 10 times longer than usual, due to unruly teenagers who descended on Crown Heights for the weekend.

I dunno, it takes me 12 -15 minutes to commute. In no traffic it's about 10. And I have 4 wheels on my vehicle :)
The real traffic is people who livi in the valley and travel in to the city, and stuff like that. If you are able to avoid freeways, and the canyons, it's not too bad. I have what to compare to, I spent three years of my life waiting 1/2 an hour twice a day to get into the Holland tunnel. And that was because timing and shortcuts took it down from 45 -60 minutes :)

is this in dans neighborhood
Potential renter finds Israeli man shot in face outside Cleveland home
That's about as opposite from Dan's neighborhood as it gets in CLE, not close at all.
