Yup, the yeshivish plan fell through. Now chassidim got approval for their shul, to the total chagrin and dismay of the modox community. They fought hard,but the can't win...

Yup, just when the modox were rubbing their hands with glee, thinking they were finally rid of the yeshiva and yeshivish, the chassidim moved in on them. In a big way.

Can't recommend shuls but I have a cousin there who is definitely in a modox one. He is in Passaic not Clifton. In all the train should not be anywhere near the time you said.

Beth Shalom would probably meet more of your criteria than R' Hirsch.

i had MD plates but switched already. Kept my old license because I heard that points don’t transfer over but I’m not 100% sure about that 🙂

the marketing would help bring in improved restaurants, perhaps, even if not new people. There are enough CLE families to support some dining locations to upgrade/improve, or expand.

Springfield, NJ, if you want a real backyard an hour from downtown w a growing modox community (becoming more yeshivish, but overalll modox and mixed).

Bad example. My family grew up in JC, and the area ppl moved to is literally the worst (cheapest) part of town.

Not around my crowd.

My daughter actually moved OOT and her family is one of the few in her community that don’t rely on the Eiruv. I guess when both she and her husband grew up without it, and having some other priorities (despite the social difficulties that stem from not relying on an eiruv), it isn’t that important.

I'm not familiar with the situation there.
But shouldn't that be the reason for tons off ppl to buy ? they don't need to move right away.

Depends how bad the area is. And I’m not sure they all were buying as an investment, though I don’t know anyone that moved.

My point was that 40 ppl moving to a place is going to take years IF it ever picks up.
