Not Albany or Rochester style.
Love me or hate me. I still love you.

I've never been referred to as Mr. before. Thank you.

Sorry, but you don't act like a Mrs.
You have the attitude of serious mature grownup respected man who doesn't express any emotions and rarely a smile appears on your face.
No offense, just my description as I read your posts. But you should definitely be proud of it.
Love me or hate me. I still love you.

This getting slanted way to anti Israel for me. I know plenty of well adjusted kids growing up there
basically whatever I say on the forums- you say the opposite, there's just no need to point it out every time.

My personal take:

Living in Cleveland is like living in slow motion.

Obviously doesnt apply to Dan (or at least to his mileage accounts)

I recently heard a story of a gadol that told someone about moving to Israel, that where he lives his kids grow up (מתחנכים) at home, while in Israel his kids will grow up on the street. (IIRC it was the chazon ish)

*IF* you are paying 50%, yes. but vast majority dont pat that much or even pay much if anything...kollel, income levels etc; there are other new benefits that have been passed through after recent protests such as free pre-k and tax credits for those with children under certain ages...

in reality this has helped the middle class....immigrants can also benefit from tax free status on foreign income for up to 10 years IIRC and there are ways to structure taxes i imagine...

tuition is also very inexpensive....

My dads insurance and taxes monthly in the US came out to be very similar to the Israeli- rate. Unless i was was making a bunch more money and then i would be paying higher premiums. (but these numbers are very hard to figure out- bec my dads income is greater than mine)
Another point to keep in mind- for low income folk- they can actually afford in surance in Israel- unlike many americans.

I like Montreal a lot.
(I'm Canadian at heart)
It just seems a bit too black and white for me sometimes.
