No crow, my kids have school :)
Can't speak for why other schools do stupid things. Nothing wrong outside.
DeBlasio didn't close the schools in NYC either.

The Pros And Cons Of Where You Live

One of the bigger snow dumps last night. Streets are spotless, driveway is plowed, kids have school, power is on, airport operating normally, no CNN breaking news, life goes on

.

FYI - no wonder CLE wasn’t impacted by your “bigger snow dump”.

No idea what you're trying to say, but when there's an 18 inch dump here, life goes on. 18 inch dump in NYC and all of the sudden it's like the world is coming to an end and we get to invest new names like bomb cyclone or snowpocalypse or Snowmageddon to remember it by.

I think what you're trying to say is that nobody cares about Cleveland. Not quite Breaking News there my friend.

Maybe, just maybe, the reason why its a big deal in NY is because there are millions more people that live and work here so it affect more people. And as much as I hate NY, the fact is that NY is the center of the finance world as well as near the top of many other industries. When NY has an issue, it has a global effect.

Lol.
I just like hearing y'all talk about snow.
It's like watching LA people talk about rain:

You’re comparing impacts that resulted from under a foot of light powdery snow that fell over the course of 14 hours to a localized region  to over a foot of heavy wet snow that damaged structures over thousands of square miles (that were already damaged from a storm a few days back). And mentioning that your airport was fine when it got barely any snow. Life does go on, but don’t compare things that aren’t close to comparable.

The storm names and made up terms are stupid and invented solely by the media to get viewers.

Oh, and my town is without power until possibly Wednesday now :(. Maybe I should move to CLE

Of course there are more people and it matters more.
But NY is simply miserably equipped for snow events, there's no getting around that. And that is astounding to me in a city with as many resources (and taxes) as NYC.

You can keep repeating the same tired mantra, but the bottom line is that snow effects the lives of people in NYC significantly more than it does to people in Beachwood, despite Beachwood getting much more snow than NYC.

The end.

I won’t need to repeat myself if you stop making points that are untrue or irrelevant.

149k a house... dan you win
Seems like the only nice thing about it is the updated kitchen with granite counters (wow!)
Either way, still not worth it IMHO

Would have been $99K a few years ago #TooMuchWinning

How much would a house like that rent for?  Looks like a solid rental.  Although do any Jews rent in Cleveland, with the houses so cheap!?!?  :P

People are snapping up houses like this and rent them out for ~$1,500/month.

It is ridiculous seeing people on FB talking about moving to CLE for free tuition.
It's not going to be free unless you make under 2x federal poverty.
is that true for all Cleveland areas?

How can rent be more than a motgage? Not against basic economic principals?

Because the people moving here for free tuition don't have the funds for a down payment or can't qualify for a mortgage.
