DELTA ORD -TLV
« Reply #52 on: January 14, 2013, 01:55:56 PM »
was on this site in November.
Did anyone have success re-route as JFK-TLV only, and drop the ORD-JFK?
How likely is it they would be willing at no charge? (they gain the seats, do not lose anything).
Would making the call risk entire ticket?

TIA

honestly, what i would say, with a straight face, try pulling it off w/o calling. i would be very scared to call, in lue of getting my tickets cancelled for just merely asking, heaven forbid! but if you wanna be gutsy maybe start a new thread, then call and ask them to switch -

but now that u actually asked the q i will explain a little, and then my colleagues mmerms and uncle moishy take over. but did you ever think that just because it works for you and it makes sense to you, IT ACTUALy doesnt for others. lemme clue you in. when you go into the airport and wait for a flight chances are you will buy a drink for 5$ and maybe even a snak for 10$ - the airlines dont give a flipping rats tail if YOU want to skip a flight, the rule is i miss a leg, u miss it all! they obviously find it profitable to have ur touches on their seats for the extra flights. they want warm seat cushions, period! so in short think about it besides from what YOU want!  ;D

just so you should all know i can imagine menucha asking the same q's as my mom, (who happens to be on ddf. but i told her 1 rule and one rule only, NEVER START A NEW THREAD) so menucha, i basically am as nice to you, as i am to my mom when it comes to cc and shtick in 2013!   :-* :-*
If you have any questions please search and then ask. PM me for detailed help.

You are being pretty harsh on her/him, it must really bother you when people dont understand the company policies.

I had someone contact me for a flight TLV-JFK although he lives in IAH, bec he thinks its cheaper, when i told him it happened to be cheaper to go straight to IAH, he tells me, "It can't be, impossible, it's more miles to IAH." He wanted a detailed explanation, how its possible. Some people just dont get it that not everything makes 100% sense.

BTW to all those people out there that dont know @rots5, he isnt this really mean guy, he's just putting things in perspective a bit.
