Tax should take care of that

Awful reviews.
What's the point anyway?

Heart up your car before you go in? Seems pretty silly to me

Winter clearly has not set in wherever you are located - or you park in a garage
I've had one on my last three cars and they are awesome (not this brand but a remote starter)

How does it work? Does it remember the last heat/AC settings in the car whenever you remotely turn on the car or is the temparature and fan speed customizable on the remote itself?

In my case, I m interested when I bring my kid to school and it is better for me to leave the heat off for the 5 minutes drive than turning it on and having cold air for a minute in addition to a 30 degrees outside temperature... (same idea in the summer...)

It doesn't remember anything your car by default does whatever it was doing before you shut it off so it's great in the morning instead of getting into a freezing cold car you push the button while you are getting dressed and
whala by the time you get outside your car is nice and toasty

That's kind of a minus for me then... I don't always have the heat on in the afternoon or evening in my car...

-1
I have a remote starter and it has its own settings. full defrost plus rear defrost in the winter and full fan A/c on the Coldest in the summer.
If you leave it for too long. ie: the car is warm already it shuts off not to waste gas.
it is very cool/hot!  8) 8)
I would get it for my other cars but they are too old to put $200 into!  :-[
But obviously YMMV! (your MODEL? may vary)

its actually not great for the car to leave it running in cold weather. its better to start driving right away but drive gently (no hard acceleration etc until it warms up)

whats more important your car or getting frosbitten. nevermind cleaning off snow. after the defrost has been on for a few minutes I pushed off 10in with one weak push

I don't think you're right about that.

my advice, get it done by a reputable reliable pro. Mine was done by some random dude and I have had some problems since, including a burnt out starter which cost me almost$500 to replace, and now I can even use the remote starter
