I have had it for a year, and I have used it a lot, although I paid for it, around $40, a year ago.
I have ripped tens of DVD's, and it was all smooth and easy.
There has only been one DVD that I couldn't rip.
It is really handy in storing all DVD's to one hard drive, where it easy to access, faster.
Especially good with kids, negates DVD scratching, or them jamming up the DC/DVD drive, etc.
They have tons of different sampling options, but I prefer the "copy" option, which saves to mpeg2 exactly like on the DVD, so no quality is lost. It takes about 5 minutes for a regular DVD, and for "fancier" ones with more protections, you might have to use safe mode, which depending on the DVD, can take up to half-hour, but it doesn't gobble up your system resources, (at least with a multi core computer,) so you could do other stuff at the same time.
In my opinion, it is was $40 well spent, and here it is for free, grab it!
