will UPS compensate if package is delayed?

i ordered 4 Samsung galaxy S3 from sprint on black Friday for $1 each, all to Brooklyn and it was shipped out with UPS ground on Friday which is meant to take no longer then 5 business days from when it shipped which means that the latest it will arrive is Thursday Nov. 29th, it didn't arrive on Thursday so i tracked the package and it says it arrived in NY on Wednesday and since then no updates, i called and every agent says something else some say its lost some say it will arrive the next day, it still didn't come on Friday they kept on pushing it off and now they say it will arrive monday.
is there any way i can get some compensation for this? sprint wont give anything because they said it will take 7-10 business days and UPS says its a mistake and there's nothing they can do about it.
will UPS give me any sort of compensation for this delay if i try?
has anyone here gotten anything from them?

I don't  believe so because  it wasn't guaranteed to arrive by a certain day.

Same thing for me it days the following status: THE PACKAGE WAS LEFT IN A UPS FACILITY / DELIVERY RESCHEDULED[X]   

That is some real chutzpah, they never called me, I have been chasing them for 4-5 days already to get this issure resolved and still no answer! Must have fallen off the truck or something.

UPDATE: after talking to the manager of the location I made sure it gets delivered today.
And I got sprint to give me $100 per line =$400.
I'm starting to think it might of been worth it.

Funny I just sent a letter yesterday from Lakewood to Brooklyn overnight and they haven't delivered yet. The status shows "Due to local operation disruption, packages not unloaded from trailer, expect a one day business delay". I hope they reimburse me for the "damages".

UPS lost a package of clothing.
Will they reimburse me? It was not insured by me (the sender).
I did call and ask, but they were vague and said that that will need to be determined by the 'investigative team' or something like that, which will investigate and give an answer in 8 business days.

Its happened. An friend had people show up to his house to look for It.

They admit that its lost. Last scan was into their warehouse or whatever.
Whats really odd is that it was a two box shipment, and one box arrived.
