it should be bookable if you drop the LAX-ORD-YYZ-LAX part as most Carriers will say you arent returning to TLV with that so NG, theres also a max # of miles that a person can fly and I believe you will max yours out by doing this even if it was allowable

It isnt simply fly all U want anywhere you want but usually must be on a direct routing with a max # of miles.

I forsure dont see CO or UA allowing it maybe US but even US will probably shoot it down as simply flying for flying sake and not on a Direct Routing

steve2 has a point but you could make that route a seperate ticket if you really need it

CO or UA (CO probably easier to get it tkted) should be 115k, US can be 120k but they do have periods where it seems they are like DL and charge crazy amounts, now if they actually do I dont know Id assume its 120k

if you could find a way to go back on CO or US or at least to Europe then ANA should be useable and very little surcharges since youd have only the Europe to TLV on a non-US Carrier and that I think would be 90k, the more non-US carriers teh more the surcharges will be an dits per segment , thats why I suggested trying to use US or UA or CO metal over The Pond

What about AC?

I've done crazy routings before, and it was perfectly bookable.
But then again, the crazy part wasn't in the USA.

I also took the following flight with AC miles:

BRU-FRA

FRA-DFW

DFW-CLT

CLT-LGA

EWR-ZRH

ZRH-BRU

I might be wrong, but doesn't it imply, that worse case scenario, only one direction LAX-YYZ would be needed to be removed (if anything at all).

I would still give it a shot with AC (120k miles) to book all in 1 tix.

You say that you want to fly TLV-YYZ, and as no direct flight is available, you are helpful and suggest some fights.

Whatever you do, act fact.
If I'm in the mood soon (= if I have the time), I'll try with a specific aeroplan number which allows putting on hold, however, they are better in geography than standard US reps...

Pm me the names if you want, o/w, put on hold by CO, till you know what you want to do (ASAP).

yurs is in no way like what moish posted as you are making x amount of stops but are always Traveling in 1 direction he wants to go West then East then West then East. Im still amazed they allowed Dan to go ZRH-CDG-VCE

" No Backtracking" is usually allowed. Could be Dan was within the max miles allowed and the rep didnt realize that VCE is backtracking from going ZRH-CDG or that AC allows Backtracking as long as you dont go beyond the max miles allowed

Not at all amazed with AC to do what Dan did.

For 20k I can book tix with them with some 6 stops, as if nothing.

For Biz yep thats what it is with CO or UA besides other *A Carriers, its 130k with AA or One World and with DL I dont think 115k would get you even a 1 way tkt in Biz as they usually never have Saver Award levels available

If backtracking means zigzaging then yes.

No one else, dan, or others, any insight on what's allowed or worthwhile for moish, CO, aeroplan, us airways, etc?

i was wondering, does co allow one stopover each way, or one stopover total? im thinking that maybe to at least stick in the yyz-lax leg so i would have tlv-lax with stopover in ny, and yyz-tlv with stopover in la.

I guess it depends if they allow 2 stop overs in NA, Im used to hearing 1 stop over in either direction but I know they allow 1 domestic and 1 Intl, but what they consider YYZ is the Unknown to me right now

BTW I just wrote up a whole megilah till I realized you said what I did but not properly. It would have been better to have said a TLV-LA with a Stop in NY and returning LA-TLV with a stop in YYZ ( I delted the megilah).

well I called and was told only 1 stop allowed . I said I true but NY is the Domestic stop and I know an Intl flight is allowed but is YYZ considered Intl. So she went ahead and built an actual resrevation choosing what ever date she saw that was available and after she found available flights for everything she clicked to reserve it (10 mins work) and she said it told her Only 1 stop is allowed. So at least from this agent seems U can stop Either in the US or Canada in either direction but not in both at least when the stops are in the US and the other Canada

No probs well you still need to see if AC is the same way or UA, my feeling is they are but its worth a shoot. I have nothing with AC but will call UA

I think that CO rep was nice as she started to read the rules and then said heck, let me see if I can build such an Itin and see what the computer will do, that way there was no trying to figure out what the rules mean.

The 1K desk at UA said no way since all you are allowed is 1 Stop in NA and NY and YYZ are both in NA, back to the drawing board
You should be able to do an Open Jaw I think, meaning say TLV-NY-LA then YYZ-TLV with it your biz how U get to YYZ, havent looked into whether it pays to do that, with a 2nd US city at times a person can get say JetBlue or SouthWest for a few bucks for that 1 way tkt but from friends who had kids seeing girls in YYZ its anything but cheap, but I guess since it worked out in the end (they got married) it didnt bother them so much if at all
