Listen if we ate that food this would be a very different game for us.
But it is what it is, that trip has zero appeal for me. SQ R is far better and cheaper to boot.

TPG is absolutely rolling in it. During the e-bags 35x promo via AA Shopping portal he spent $29K on bags which he gave to charity as a write off and then gave away the 1 million miles to charity. Very notable to give to charity, but if you are making $29K tax write-offs you must be making some serious cash.

He probably doesn't even need to buy points/miles to fly anymore. It wouldn't be surprising to me if airlines give him free vouchers just so he plugs their products given his outlet. I was flying home on AA on Monday and saw him in the American Way magazine talking about his recent charity which I mentioned above. Then saw him on Bloomberg TV later in the week. Totally agree with you Dan, that his site is corporate and very manufactured, much like Frugal Travel Guy (whose website was bought by Internet Brands).

It doesn't feel too corporate though. At the end of the day when reading it and his posts I still feel like he's one sincere guy writing about his experiences and passionate about what he does.
