When alternate side parking is in effect. Don't know if that's the law, or they just officially don't enforce it because it's not possible otherwise.

During alternate side it's not officially legal. Though many places they won't give tickets as a courtesy.

Correct. Vast majority of officers won't (unless it's a school block).  That's why it is the prevalent minhag in the city, but if you happen to get a ticket, don't count on getting away with it.

Anyone have a place that fights NYC parking tickets that they are satisfied with?

Any satisfaction with these (http://www.dansdeals.com/archives/70359) guys who refer out parking tickets to S&R Consultants?

Does it make sense to pay NYC parking tickets with CC? They charge 2.49% of ticket for paying by CC. Better to pay using bank account where theres no fee? Any good CC to use for this? TIA!

Correct, except if you need to finish some threshold spending.

Please PM me and I will send you 2 hearings I found that I submitted that were successful for this case if I'm understanding properly. I will try to respond tomorrow afternoon (unless your ticket is due immediately?).

I just got a ticket in FR for parking in front of a hydrant.  Honestly,  my car must have been at least 25 feet away.  Can anyone please help me out with some advise here?

Does the person who gave the ticket take a picture?  I would take a picture but my wife moved the car already...

Thank you
