Delta eCredit transferability

Delta eCredits given after Dec. 15 2011 are officially non-transferable unless the name on the voucher is flying on the same reservation.


Has any tried transferring it anyway?

My wife and I received delta ecredits for canceling our tickets to Israel (unfortunately). Is there anything I can do with them aside from purchasing other flights for ourselves?  Can I sell them?  Can I use the ecredits to buy gift cards?
