Infant Seating
« on: January 10, 2013, 09:29:14 AM »
We're 3 and an infant on delta jfk->tlv and back. Is there any specific seats i need. Right now we're in the 3 section. Should I change to  the 4?

I think this should be wiki'd. Bassinet locations on aircraft, particularly those on NY-TLV routes

Delta is very tricky. They will guarantee you a bassinet (meaning, they'll bring one on the plane for you) but won't put you in the right seats.

From my experience, only elal and united will actually confirm the bassinet and put you in the correct seats.

LY rule for infants is 9 months or less will get a bassinet (if still in quota). Otherwise you won't get it.

UA will give for older than that as well. (Not sure till what age)

I added him on online,  it says confirmed.  Will I need to pay at the airport for him?

you will need to pay the taxes for him. I suggest calling Delta and taking care of it.
