I am not sure why under the "Master Thread" there are not sub threads by topic...

My family goes from Cleveland to the Camp Bnos in the summer, and I need to travel to Dallas for business. I probably need to fly out of LGA. Is there any way to get from LGA to the mountains on late Thursday night or Friday, and then back to LGA on Sunday? Thanks!
Welcome to the forums. Why don't you elaborate, do you mean if it is doable time wise? or whether there is public transportation?

How does the Lake house compare to the Raleigh hotel? I like the fact that the Raleigh has a lot of room for the kids to play outside and big lobby to hang out.

Lake house is brand new (most of it) lake house doesn't have that big of a lobby & neither is the place as a whole as big as the Raleigh but it still has more then enough of grounds, indoor/outdoor pool (which the Raleigh has as well) & I think the Raleigh is more expensive & much more ppl (which is not necessarily a plus or a minus just a fact.....)

Vacation Ideas w/i max 3 hours driving distance from BoroPark
« Reply #59 on: July 03, 2014, 06:48:10 PM »
Hi, I am coming iy"h from Eretz Isroel in the end of August (around Rosh Hodesh Elul) to visit my Mother in Brooklyn. She is age 80 (ad 120) and we want to go for few days SUN - THURS to some really NICE & QUIET place (hotel, resort etc.) to relax and enjoy our time together. Must be glatt (or close to place where we can eat). 3 hours driving from BoroPark is max. And also: are there separate time swimming pools anywhere in US of A? Pardon my EI provincialism  :-X. Any idea appreciated.
