Hawks look unbeatable.
I still think this is the Caps to lose.

They just need to figure out what is wrong with the PK.

Smaller quicker teams have more pk issues generally

They went from one of the best the last few years to one of the worst this year. Short handed goals are a thing of the past for them. IIRC they have one and that was an open net.

That's a bit of a different issue, also related to size imo. The decline of hossa, and sharp and Saad leaving. Not as many big strong scorers.

I never heard that as a reason for bad penalty killing.
Quicker players are some of the best pk'ers, like Grabner, Hagelin, etc.
They make the PP team scared of taking too many risks lest they give up a breakaway.

Haglin lines with bonino doumolin and hainsey. 6'1, 6'3 and 6'4

Hossa leads all active players with 34 career shg and Patrick sharp is also top ten. Among others vermette, rick nash, toews all up there. All big strong scorers.

Defense/goal tending is looking good for the Hawks. This spells big trouble for the rest of the league.
