Added note, the HTC One has a much wider angle camera than the s4 and it takes really nice panoramic shots.
Although a mobile photo is, ultimately that, a mobile photo (meaning, to date, no phone takes pics as good as a camera), there are mixed reviews regarding this device's camera due to the 4MP which are "bigger pixels" day shots, night shots etc... I guess the only way to really know is to compare with other phone's shots and to see how they are once pics are in a PC.
Battery life seems to be average
the lack of removable battery is what's keeping me from holding on to the HTC One. If I needed a new phone I'd def consider this one even without the removable battery. It's a shame. Add a removable battery and this might have been the best phone yet.
I'm doing good even with my 4G LTEvo with 2000 mAh (non removable battery), not to mention this one with 2300 mAh, I know phone usage is YMMV though.. Interestingly the ONE is 2300 mAh and when comparing it on Sprint's website against the Samsung S4's 2600 mAh it shows ONE: 19hs talk time, S4: up to 15 hs.. Maybe the ONE is designed to save power in many ways?
I know that taking the leap from removable battery to non removable is scary but I know many people who have done it including myself and it's not all that bad. I gave it up in order to have a great device..
Plus, you can always do
this...
it really is a nice device. Probably the nicest I've ever held.
this might have been the best phone yet.
Although I've been an htc'er up until now, I'm really keeping an eye on the S4 this time around, it might ultimately have an edge over the ONE in functionality and smoothness. Yes, I will miss htc's beautiful design and possibly Sense. I wish I can somehow test each for a week before purchasing.

Aren't the two above statements contradictory?
