There are some reports that Verizon might block the GPS signal for this app.

It means you probably have verizon. Doesnt work on verizon

Works great on my AT&T BB. Looks very much like the real thing. However the sound is lower even at 100%, and more importantly, it cannot work without the internet connection = will not work anyplace there is no cell coverage like the White mountains, so this is not to be relied upon for long trips.

Any workaround for Verizon bold. I know some of the older VZ BB got GPS unlocks

I've had many problems using this on the road and would not recommend relying on it.

BB Bold ATT. I think the problem lies in the fact that it does not have preloaded maps like a reg. GPS and relies on the internet to calculate. I may be wrong. (I had a good 3g connection and still had the problems). The problem may also be that my phone is low on memory, though I cant figure out if it is.

In any case, is anyone driving around using this and it's working good for them?

I found it to be a little annoying as well when it would take too long to recalculate. Im back to google maps...

For me it's gonna be buying a real GPS (which my be the reason they put this program out to begin with...).

I already have 2 and dont use them. Well once in a while i do. Its too annoying taking it out and putting it away so it doesnt get stolen. Much easier to just use my BB. I use one of my regular gps's when im going somewhere far and need directions and dont really know the area.

Yes BB google maps. It also needs internet. But once you have the directions displayed, you dont need the internet anymore unless you close the app. Having internet connection will only continue to show you where you are located (or within 800 feet)...

How do you get it onto the phone. I checked BB app world but it's not there.
