It was probably taken down since people have been reporting that they were told by CS that you will need to keep your account open for up to 150 - 180 days to get the gift card

Hmmmmmmmm.
I just subscribed for myself and my wife.
As long as they'll arrive within three months we're good. If it could take longer we could make a loss of $44, and Id better try to cancel ASAP.

I wouldn't panic yet. It doesn't say anywhere in the T&C on the signup page that you need to remain an active subscriber for 6 months so I wouldn't assume that's what they are going to do just based on what some CSR's said. Worst case scenario, they don't give you the gift card and you contact AMEX for a chargeback.

Now for Dan to post it on the main site, where most of the people can't even read the post, forget about actually dealing with it if something goes wrong (other then coming back to complain to Dan for stealing their money

) that's a different story.

I got an email today from WSJ confirming my purchase and that they'll send me the the amazon gift card electronically in 45 days
