Since the latest Gmail update I'm getting alerted on emails even when there's already one unread in that conversation.
This is making me crazy.
Anyone else having this?

Used to have it two phones ago and (HTC Evo 4G), supposedly, and was a "feature bug".

I think I always get alerted. Either way, you can install another email app (ie K9) and have that alert you.

Tried K9 about 14 rimes since I'm on android, no idea why people like it and IMO it doesn't stand a chance against the Gmail app.

It's an app by "Delicious inc", the same guys who make ChompSMS, I'd venture to say it's the same app with a different name, though they're both available on market..

I began using it on my first HTC One (my first Android device) on the recommendation of a friend of mine who is an Android super-geek.

So, I can't really say how it compares to others, but I particularly like that its light and has popups.
