Searching for availability on Virgin Atlantic
« on: June 21, 2010, 09:46:57 PM »
Does anyone have a way to search for Virgin Atlantic award availability online?
ANA doesnt show results when I check, only "RQ" which means they can request from the airline.

I've seen Virgin Atlantic flights displayed on CO.com
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Why don't you just search on their website? They have a fairly easy to use search tool.

ya, search on their website, but you need an account with them to search there.  its free though.     if you see availability on their website then there "should" be availability through ana, but no guarantees.  you might want to make sure its a lot of availability before transferring points over to ana

Why not their own program? 10k VS + ~$240

~$160 of it is UK departure tax which you'll have to pay regardless.

Your question was on LHR-JFK, which I answered.

(And JFK-LHR is $148 iirc, it would depend on how much you value your points).

Correct and correct.
How would you book jfk-lhr? Delta is charging no YQ but 45K skypesos.

Maybe it's not worth booking an award ticket in the first place. How much is a paid fare?

When booking RT LHR-JFK there's less YQ, total of ~$330.

Not the best route for award bookings in Y due to taxes.
