Try to reach US call center.
I haven't made the calls myself, but rather left it to the person traveling.
Called US call center and was told: "whenever the price increases prior to change, even if that's an increase in required miles, you need to pay the difference. I believe you were already told about this".
Any hope? Any better strategy?
Reservation is on hold, exact same itinirary as previously, just different date. Paging
