Dan likes to save words and be cryptic, so I will explain it as I have a Q10 and typing is a breeze ;-). Elites and Chase UA Club Card members (maybe explorers, not sure) have access to award inventory not available to others. That class is listed as XN (X is regular award economy). XN is available to elites and club members only. Now, is the account showing availability an elite or club card member?

Excellent, I always wanted a meturgeman.

Pretty good, but XN is also for explorer cardholders as well.

XN?
    Elites get access to ‘XN’, ‘IN’, and ‘ON’ to the extent those will ever be greater than the standard X, I, and O.
Dan i thought you see the WHOLE picture.
Didn't you see the 2.5$ in my account (UC) as opposite to 77.5$ in my wife's account ( UMPE )?
But still there is more availability in my wife's account!

Didn't open your picture, just took a guess.
I'd try in another browser.

Didn't know where to put this without starting a new thread so..

I Planned on booking a one way flight JFK-LAX on TLV with my 2 $100 united gift cards when I realized that I am only allowed to use 1 gc per purchase. Since I am booking for me and my wife and there are plenty of seats available right now I am considering booking seperately and just seating us next to each other.

However since I am premier silver plus I have the United Card I find I frequently get upgraded to e+, it has even happened to me at the gate as I was boarding.

What are the odds that I get upgraded without me knowing about it at the last minute and not being able to sit by my wife? Would you book this way? Both purchases would still use the united CC, just I have status as well.

Also - Could this screenshot be correct when it says sold out? It just means they have not opened up availability yet correct?

Just decline the upgrade/offer to change seats with the person who they placed next to your wife.

I am looking to fly Sunday 07/07 EWR - TLV united businessfirst. Right now they are showing 11 seats on the 10:45 pm flight avail. For revenue. Does anyone know when they will open that for saver rewards?

Btw was always wondering, is the availability that we are seeing on the United website @ the seat map accurate?

Oval = Lie flat
Boxy = Angle

So how come im seeing tons of flights that the boxy seats are taken when there is still oval seats avail.? are ppl not aware of that, and paying 3k dollars for a biz. class ticket, and taking the angle not the flat bed????

If I'm waiting for saver business availability on a United Non Stop flight to open up, does it pay to book the seats as a paid ticket and then plan to cancel on the day before to free up the seats?
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

U can but u will not get back ur money, you will be able to use it for a different flight, plus u will have to add a 200 dollars service charge... I am in this sitch. now, im working to get a full refund, my claim is that my wife is preg. so we can not fly economy.
