I reserved a hertz on demand rental never picked up car and got them to refund amount however they refunded a different amex card than what they initially charged (both are in my hertz profile) should I just leave it or will it cause problems?

Yes. Just SM or call.

Probably better to request a refund check. You can do that in the dispute section.

With Amex its a YMMV to transfer a credit balance to a bank account, sometimes they say no problem and sometimes they say system didn't allow it.
Not sure where the difference is, but it seems to be they only do it for high credit balances.
And either way, they don't ACH, they only do wire transfers, so unless you have a wire-free bank account you gonna end up paying a fee for that.

AMEX will always give a check though when asked.
Citi will ACH IME or give a check, whatever you ask for.

Never happens I do this more than once a week I always only pay with one check and just SM the money around. I also make large returns and SM the money around. it Shows up as a "Balance Transfer" so it does not minus points.

Are you sure about that?

Can anyone else confirm that a fee will apply if account doesn't have "free wiring"?

Yes, it depends on what type of bank account you have.
My Cap1 business escrow account has it free, others charge a fee.

My question is, if you're sure that its done as a "wire" which may cost money, and not as an ACH, which AFAIK, there isn't a charge with any bank. . .?
