Did you call corporate and ask if that's even legal?
Does legal only refer to a criminal legality? Why can't a breach of contract be civilly illeagal? Or something like that.
Anyway why do you think it is required and not just a suggested idea?
Maybe this location was a franchise before the free day started?
I can think of all sorts of reasons.
