I had an amazing expirience with Air berlin. One of the best Y flights I ever took.
They gave out tons of extras like menues, water bottles, amenity kits, all this in coach!

TLV-TXL-JFK. Way exceeded my expectations. I'll post a full review later

TXL-JFK is fine as long as your under 5'10" in height

Need to book an Air Berlin flight from Munich to TLV, no awards available now, flight is pretty expensive imo so i'm holding off with booking. does anyone have experience with AB and would know if award space is likely to open up? is it any use waiting?
or would anyone have an idea of how to bring down the fare? there doesn't seem to be any vouchers/credits for sale...
thx

Are there any tips or tricks for finding jfk-tlv with Air Berlin for BA? It's impossible to find availability! I would greatly appreciate any help or tips. PM's welcome (on this subject :)) Thanks.

Try searching each leg separately

Wow that helps! When I call BA to book it stays at 20K NYC-DUS and 10K DUS-TLV even if the DUS-TLV flight is the next day?

Did you search without DUS? Just TXL?

Thanks for the help. One more question: If I call BA and book it, can I still cancel it afterwards without a fee? Until when?

I'm doing the air berlin jfk-dus and dus-tlv. I only have enough miles for one leg in my ba account. Is there any way that ba would allow me to combine this leg with the dus-tlv leg if I book that from someone elses account? TIA

You can't make 1 ticket from 2 different accounts, however if you book the 2 legs separately - 1 from each account, you should be able to get an agent in JFK to check your bags for you through to TLV. But as always, YMMV.

That sucks. I guess worst-case I'll have to re-check my bags in Dus. Thanks.
It's weird that ba wouldn't put my flights together. Any chance a ba phone agent can do it?
