Starwood Hotels to build Jaffa hotel, residential complex




Construction of the project is due to begin in the spring of 2015. Eldar Marketing Ltd., which Starwood and RFR chose to handle sales, will begin marketing the project in two weeks.

The Old city of Jaffa is heavily Arab, but with a garin of young frum families in the area, and has a Jewish population as well. It's also just down the boardwalk from the main TLV areas, and is a beautiful area.

Anyone here been to old jaffa? couldnt find any other related threads, wondering if it is worth it to check out in August (with kids) or just dangerous.

To my understanding, it's perfectly fine, especially cuz you'll be staying in the main tourist areas. There are a few kosher places to eat at as well.
