Serious question, what if he leaves to chase another ring. What do you consider that?
To me it's simple, the main "sin" he did was how he made "The Decision" and shoved it in the Cavs faces. He apologized for that pretty sincerely it seems and he came back to CLE with no obligation to do so. Then he won a championship the city was desperate for. To me that works to get full forgiveness.
If he leaves again and does it like a normal player giving the team notice etc. I'll be sad he's leaving but I won't be mad at him for it.
That aside as a person I've always respected the community work he does and the life he lives. He is one of the best role models as an African-American in sports I've ever seen. For that there can be no argument he is one of the GOATs, if the not the GOAT of our generation at least (#42 will probably be remembered as the all time great).
