GOAT effect. I don't think MJ ever got a COY fired!
Here we go again with this nonsense.  ::)

Pease refresh my memory what happened the last season LBJ was in cle the first time around?

Why is CLE obsessed with MJ?
I just found a new supply of forks!

If you're letting Lebron qualify for the same spot as Magic, he's getting that spot over Magic. If you're letting him qualifiy for the same spot as Bird, he's getting that spot over Bird. Not sure what you're getting at.
Watch the 3 part series 30 for 30 Celtics/Lakers and see if you feel the same way.

And what other player was a better ball handler or passer than Magic?

He may be better than MJ, but not LBJ :)
Never did follow LBJ but looking up his stats I came across 09-10 season. How does a team with the best record choke big time in the playoffs?

Would have been awesome had the cavs w Shaq played against the lakers w Kobe.

To be fair to lbj, mo Williams was their second option. The bigger question is how they won over 60 games with that lineup.

How about you answer the simple question I asked before we move on to the GOATL with a 18-27 record in the finals.

It’s happened to other 1 seeds, and stat/record wise that Cavs team was of the worst top teams in the league.

When Jordan was on a crappy team he took them to the 8 seed, so lebrons accomplishments are pretty impressive despite losing in the second round.

Stat/record wise they had the best record in the league. They were big favorites against Boston. No matter how you twist the numbers they were the #1 seed and chocked. Yes it happened to other #1 seeds but never to the Bulls. We are talking about LBJ so no need to bring MJ into it. If you can't defend LBJ's terrible record on the biggest stage then stop with the nonsense.

tell me, how can a GOAT lose in the first round 3 years in a row??? And not even make the playoffs his last two years? Playing at the highest stage definitely is a consideration, and there’s no doubt that MJ and russel and loscutoff won more. But Jordan didn’t always lead his team to victory

When you say terrible record at the biggest stage, do you mean finals or playoffs. He probably has the best record of anyone in the first round of the playoffs, and his second and third round records aren’t too shabby. There were two years they should have and didn’t  win the finals, and one of those definitely was LBJs fault. But i think lebrons first stint in CLE does more to help than hurt his record. He took his team to the highest level with no supporting cast. Jordan couldn’t do that.

We are talking about LBJ. No need for anyone to make a case for someone that is considered the undisputed GOAT at this time.
No player can always lead his team to victory. The issue is LBJ leading his team to defeat at a record pace in the finals. Also when you are the favorite and lose you have some explaining to do. LBJ has a lot of explaining to do.

We haven't even touched on the subject of him deserting his team because he couldn't bring them a championship.
