I do want it to go to sleep after a few hours but not that it should shut down my programs...
Look at those settings and see what it's set to do (you want it to go to sleep, not to shut down).
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Desktop or laptop?
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

Having an issue with my USB. When I stick it in to my laptop I get the message

"Please enter a removable disk (G:)". The pop-up keeps on blinking , ( together with the icons on the taskbar ).When I close the message it just comes up again. The USB doest come up in My computer either.

Tried scanning the PC and the drive with Malwarebytes but nada

Nope. It's not there
If it is not there, which is interesting (maybe post a screenshot of all in Disk Management), I doubt there's anything to do with it.

Actually I see now that it's coming up on the bottom but not in the list.

In Disk Management try right-clicking on the Disk 1 area and (if you have an option) Change the Drive letter.

To got the Unallocated in Disk Management you did something or it somehow showed up for 30 secs?

Got it beforehand. The computer basically freezes up when the USB is inside.  Will keep on trying.

It happened when I reinserted the USB

Rebooted in safe mode, changed it to H: and now the same is happening but showing up as (F:)!?

You can try to see if its a filesystem/partition table issue:
Download testdisk, run analyze on the drive, post results.

Does know how to remove a saved username on chrome for a mac? I tried the "command, fn and delete button" method and it did not work.

After shutting down or hibernating, I often have to hold down the power button for a few seconds for the computer to completely shut down. Without this the computer won't restart with simply pushing the power button. Any clue whats going on?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.
