click start and type powershell to open powershell.

Narrow down to the lowest directory possible (if you know you dragged it to something in program files for example) and navigate there.  (Type cd 'program files') if you don't know, navigate to root (type cd).

Copy one of the commands I posted above and delete the C:\folder and press enter.
Are you sure this would work? I don't think the date of a file changes when you move it to another folder. By the way to change to the root directory you would have to have a backslash after CD.

You can't use this one port for both.

What you need to have is an external graphics card (or USB-to-whatever adapter). Something like this https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Adapter-2560x1440-1920x1200/dp/B00BPEV1XK (but it will cost you some pretty penny. You can get cheaper like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00D4OUT7I/ref=psdc_3015395011_t1_B00BPEV1XK, but you need to be willing to find out that it will not work properly...)

You can also go with a Dell D1000 Docking Station, it's the easiest option especially if you plan on moving the laptop
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

And especially if you also want to plug in a mouse, keyboard, headphones/speakers, ethernet but only when you're also connected to the monitors.

Note that if you want to attach 2 HDMI monitors, you'll need the Dell D3100.

I have an SDHC card that suddenly stopped working, when I put it into my computer I get a popup that says "please insert a disc into drive G:", and if i try to open it I get the same error. It works fine in my camera. How do I fix it?

TIA

BUMP

I'm trying an SDHC adapter in a USB port, and first it let me open the drive, but now I get this error:

How can I get my pictures off? Then I can try formatting it and see if that helps.

Thanks!

Have you tried a different adapter? The most likely thing is that the adapter is not working properly.

The first error I get when putting it directly into the computer's card slot. The second error is when using a different USB adapter

Wow! This time I put it in the slot, it opened up and I was able to copy my files! Crazy... I must have tried 10 times without success.

Thanks!

Is there any point in still trying to change the drive letter? Or should I just format and then see if it works? If the card is going bad I don't want to keep using it, how would I know?

Thank you!

My Windows 10 desktop is set to display the screen saver after 3 minutes, and then require the password to log back in. Sometimes it works, but sometimes it doesn't; the screen saver never comes on, and the computer stays logged in. Any advice how to troubleshoot this?

TIA

I can't turn the wifi on on my laptop.

If I turn it on, it automatically shuts itself off.

If I connect with a cable to my router I have no problem.

Tried that.
I even reset my laptop (besides for personal files).

When I troubleshoot it says "a network cable is not properly plugged in or may be broken"
