Trying to convert a QBO file to desktop.. it is automatically saving it here C:\Users\CBC\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Virtualized\C\Users\CBC\Desktop\qb file

How do I get it to save on my actual machine somewhere that it can be found and used? Also, how can I get it out of this file location and copy to desktop?
If you paste that directory location up until the last \ it doesn’t take you there?

It takes me there. But I can't copy the files out of there...
QB desktop needs access to the files also.. can't access or find them.

Pleasure.

Sad.  A quick google search revealed that Virtualized folder is because of Protected mode..

Sad.  A quick google search revealed that Virtualized folder is because of Protected mode..
I googled extensively. - it actually took me some time to figure out that it actually was in a virtual folder.
But even then, for some reason I couldn't find a way to bypass it...
It's weird because I knew that it was just a security feature.. just not how to shut it.
I think I was more focused on things like this link. http://www.thewindowsclub.com/temporary-internet-files-folder-location

I was always in search of a free tool to convert JPEG to PDF https://onlineconvertfree.com/convert-format/jpeg-to-pdf/ . Tried many but Online Free Converter  is the best tool. It converts the files in a matter of seconds and supports various file formats. The best thing it is online and no need to download .

Why would this be better than the dozens of other similar products available online?  8) 8) 8)

I'm helping a friend who uses Yahoo mail. I don't know if it makes a difference but they have a .ca address. About a quarter of the screen on the right side is blank. You can click on an hour to push that pane over, but it re-emerges after 2 seconds. I have the impression that there usually are advertisements there and maybe it's being blocked due to an adblocker extension. Any Yahoo mail users no how to get rid of this?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

If it's an ad blocker you can try to select that part of the page (most ad blockers have a select object pointer) and see if it can be added to the block list.

Signed in to my old-forgotten Yahoo account to take a look... and indeed it is an ad penal which they give two official ways to remove:

For me it is also empty even after disabling the ad blocker, and I found that my Kaspersky Internet Security suite was blocking these ads. Strange.

But as said the ad blocker (I use uBlock Origin, but any should do it) could block it. I used the code:
Code: [Select]
mail.yahoo.com##.H_6D6F.a_3vpWV.iy_h.iz_A.ek_BB.em_N.D_F

I was able to remove the pane using Ublock on my computer. I looked up the Yahoo wider mail extension in the chrome store and it says that "Downloading this Extension will: - Provide a wider view of your inbox.
- Make Yahoo as your default search engine.

I wonder if you can reset google as default search?

The idea of having a quarter of your email screen clogged with adds seems ridiculous to me...Why in the world anyone tolerates that is beyond me. My friend has had the setup for years. #takingadvantage

Nope. At least not through simple settings.

So the Ublock approach is the way to go. #yahoomailstinks
