Why can't hashem make something seem older in order to test us?
Not sure why we need to go here in this thread though. The name calling is juvenile.

That's perfectly possible, but also completely unprovable and indisputable.
If you od argue that then you also have to acknowledge that the world is in fact billions of years old, but your faith tells you it was made that way.
Unfortunately, most people argue that it was not created old, but that it is exactly 5778 years old and all scientific evidence saying otherwise is wrong or false or irrelevant.

Can you name any that haven't been totally discredited and shown to have falsified results?

Regardless of what your emotions tell you, they are only required to compensate if that is the law and then it is regardless of whether they paid full price or how much it affected them.
