Has no one here actually been there? Can't find anything on anyone's lists.

I'm trying to figure out if their "no food except from Australia" rule is like most of the world (aka ignored), or like Australia, New Zealand, etc. where they actually mean business.

Maybe they just prefer the taste of the Aussie accent

If I was in your scenario and couldn't find any first hand knowledge I would assume that they were strict like many of those islands in the area. I'll be in Fiji next Wednesday and I imagine they are very strict there as well.

Exactly. The plan was to do AU first and stock up, but we're considering flipping it now. But so far it means no food...

From your WA post about the trip, it sounds like there may be leftovers when they're done munching on your group, unless they start with the group leader who offers the most meat...
